Serving as a Board of Director for Hard2Hero is an opportunity to lead with purpose and impact. Our board members are not only stewards of the organization’s mission, but also strategic partners in guiding its growth, sustainability, and success.

YOUR ROLE

Board members help shape the vision and direction of Hard2Hero by providing governance, oversight, and support. They bring diverse perspectives, skills, and resources to ensure the organization operates with integrity, transparency, and effectiveness. As ambassadors of the mission, board members also help build relationships, strengthen community ties, and advocate for the young men we serve.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Core Responsibilities

  • Governance: Ensure that the organization remains compliant with laws, ethical standards, and its founding mission.

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in setting long-term goals and evaluating program effectiveness and impact.

  • Fundraising & Resource Development: Support fundraising efforts through donations, networking, and outreach.

  • Financial Oversight: Review and approve budgets, financial reports, and overall fiscal health.

  • Ambassadorship: Represent Hard 2 Hero positively in the community and help expand its influence and partnerships.

  • Engagement: Attend board meetings, participate in events, serve on committees, and stay informed about the organization’s needs and progress.
